Ronin entered Sicario on Frenken's personal behalf. The presence of a special operations unit within Sicario's ranks nevertheless affords a unique flexibility to the type of missions the mercenary company is capable of accomplishing. In fact, their very existence within an aerial warfare-oriented group is an anomaly to many outsiders.
Every time Frenken himself is questioned, he would shrug it off with placating dismissals and smiles. Their true origins are shrouded in mystery and often scrutinized by others. They swear utmost loyalty to him over his own organization for reasons unknown. The older members of the squad tend to be more acquainted with Arnold Frenken while the greener ones are more in line with the rest of Sicario. Ronin is typically outfitted in special forces gear, including tactical helmets with mounted NODs, thermal detectors, plate carrier chest rigs, and often carry mission-specific gear such as high-capacity portable data drives.
